Church of the Brethren Home (COBH) Ice Cream Parlor Manager Dan Dadura presented a check for $307 to Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center Manager Erin Goins on behalf of the COBH staff. The funds were raised through several activities held during October: Dadura baked sugar cookies with pink icing to sell in the parlor and staff members purchased breast cancer awareness bracelets to wear on specific dress down days to support the cause.

Precision Fitness Raises $1,503.75 for Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center

Precision Fitness, located in Somerset, donated $1,503.75 to the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center (JMBCC). To raise the funds, the fitness club held a silent auction, pink ribbon sale, new/used t-shirt sale, and a night of cardio called the Pink-A-Thon. They also collected money from employees who wore jeans to work on Fridays.
