Surgical Procedures

Our surgeries are performed at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber. Services include:

• Diagnostic Laparoscopy
• Dilation and Curettage (D & C)
• Endometrial Ablation
• Abdominal or Vaginal Hysterectomy
• Hysteroscopy (examination of the uterus)
• In-office Hysteroscopy
• Laser ablation of vulva/vulvar excision (procedure to treat precancer or early vulvar cancers)
• Oophorectomy (surgical removal of the ovary)
• Pelvic floor repair procedures (Anterior and Posterior Colporrhaphy)
• Various sterilization techniques

We work closely with the Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center for our gynecological ultrasounds and mammograms. We know you’re busy— we’ll work with you to schedule your GYN well-woman visit and mammogram for the same day.
