Johnstown Walk of Hope Donates $8,000 to JMBCC

This October, Marlene Singer (left) of the The Johnstown Walk of Hope (JWOH) presented an $8,000 donation to Director of Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center (JMBCC) Erin Goins (right) to benefit the facility’s Pink Ribbon Care fund. This program provides assistance for patients who are unable to pay for breast-related health services – including mammograms, follow-up diagnostic services, and genetic counseling.

Since the inaugural walk in 2016, JWOH has donated more than $40,000 to the JMBCC.

The Joyce Murtha Breast Care Center (JMBCC) opened in February 2002 offering comprehensive and personalized breast care in one convenient location. The JMBCC is exists to prevent and treat diseases of the breast and other conditions that can impact the lives of the women served.
