David A. Csikos, MD, FACP was recently chosen by the Pennsylvania Medical Society’s (PAMED) Board of Trustees to fill a vacant seat.
Dr. Csikos is an internal medicine specialist from Windber who will serve until October 2018 as PAMED’s 11th District Trustee. In this position, he will represent physician members from Bedford, Cambria, Fayette, Greene, Somerset, and Washington counties. He was endorsed by the Cambria County Medical Society and has 38 years of clinical practice experience. Currently, Dr. Csikos is Vice President for Medical Affairs at Chan Soon-Shiong Medical Center at Windber, and he is affiliated with WindberCare Physicians.
Dr. Csikos began immediately in his role at PAMED on February 6. Members of PAMED’s Board of Trustees are responsible for reviewing matters that directly impact patient care and affect physicians in the commonwealth.
