This position oversees the performance of diagnostic sleep studies. These responsibilities include scheduling testing, preparing the necessary paperwork and sending it out to the patients, educating the patient on sleep disorders, co-morbidities and treatments, preparing the patient for the actual sleep test, performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and split-study sleep tests, evaluating the patient, Oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP administration, and any basic life support emergency care. Certified Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist or Registered Polysomnographer required. Valid PA license required. CPR preferred at time of hire, required within 6 months of hire date. ACLS certification required within 1 year of hire date.
