FLOAT POSITION. This position is responsible for meeting patient needs effectively and efficiently by applying complete nursing care to assigned patients. Care must be provided through all life stages in medical, surgical and telemetry areas of nursing. This position also provides direction and supervision to other staff members regarding patient care. Graduate from an approved school of nursing and minimum of diploma of nursing required. Current, valid PA RN license required. CPR / BLS, ACLS & Telemetry/Dysrythimia required. Minimum three years medical surgical experience and ability to provide coverage in CCU, WING III, PCU, ASU & PACU during times of staffing needs required. Will work one summer and one winter holiday per year, 4 days minimum and 1 weekend per month.
