The Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner provides medical management of patients under the care of the hospitalist service and within the CRNP scope of practice recognized by state law. Through collaboration with the hospitalist physicians and interdisciplinary team, the Hospitalist CRNP drives the entire hospitalization process from admission to discharge. Also responsible for meeting patient needs effectively and efficiently that present to the Hospitalist practice. Master’s degree from four year college or university; Current Pennsylvania Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner License required. ACLS, BLS required. Minimum of two years of Nurse Practitioner experience in acute care required. Experience working with a Hospitalist is preferred.
