About Screenings

On Monday’s between 2 and 3 p.m., 20-minute screenings are offered by appointment only. This is an affordable and convenient way to assess the progress of your child’s language development.

Parents will have the opportunity to ask the therapist questions and learn how to support their child’s speech and language development. Parents will receive immediate results following the screening.

Appropriate for children starting at 2 years of age, basic screenings examine articulation, hearing, and language. Screenings help identify children who are falling within the typical range of development as well as identify those in need of a more extensive evaluation. Research has consistently proven that early detection is critical.
