  • Image Gently – a campaign to promote radiation protection in the imaging of children

Quality Initiatives

The Radiology Department recently participated in Highmark’s Quality Blue Hospital Pay-for-Performance Program, which evaluates participating hospitals using evidence-based practices and industry standards established by national quality organizations. We are proud to announce that the department scored 100% in Imaging Efficiency by establishing methods and practices to reduce the radiation dose to patients without compromising quality imaging.
