This position has the responsibility of meeting the needs of surgical patients effectively and efficiently by assisting in complete patient care while in the surgical suite. Patient care includes age specific needs of all surgical patients. This position also includes the direction and supervision of staff members. Minimum Diploma of Nursing required. Valid Registered Nurse license required. Basic Life Support preferred at time of hire, required within 6 months of hire date. Critical Care Unit and Dysrhythmia course preferred at time of hire, required within 6 months of hire date or enrolled in next available course.
