A book designed to tell the stories of those who battled breast cancer and provide inspiration for those still battling the disease was released Thursday at the Chan Soon-Shiong Institute of Molecular Medicine at Windber.
More than 40 people joined survivors, their families and local dignitaries like Joyce Murtha for a book signing of “Journeys: Inspirational Stories of Courage and Strength.”
